Managing Director

Fred Berkowitz

Fred is a Managing Director at Horsley Bridge Partners, joining the firm in 1988. Fred has been very fortunate to have spent his career at Horsley Bridge Partners as he didn’t find success shining shoes at Faneuil Hall in Boston, working on an assembly line, or testing software programs for the Apple IIe. He received an MS and an MBA from the University of Rochester, an MA from The Ohio State University, and a BA from the University of Massachusetts.

Traveling to emerging markets is a favorite pastime, but at home he and his wife enjoy spending their free time outdoors and searching for new hiking trails in the East Bay. Lake Tahoe is a draw for Fred and his family year-round.
